"I have been in your shoes, and am thrilled to help you achieve relief.”
Sara Mashburn has been passionate about the dental field since she started more than 15 years ago. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Washington University and continued her journey to become a dental hygienist at Shoreline Community College. Sara’s curiosity to learn has been consistent throughout the years as she continues to learn and excel in the healthcare field.
Sara is also a mother of two wonderful boys who keep her and her husband very busy. It was because of her children that she became interested in myofunctional therapy. Sara wanted to find a more holistic approach to the problem areas she witnessed with her child’s airway and jaw development.
During her journey to become a myofunctional therapist, she also discovered that she suffered from many of the same problems, including fatigue and poor sleep. These personal and professional experiences have fueled her passion and devotion to the myofunctional field. Sara is very eager to help patients achieve healthier breathing habits in their everyday life.
"Sleep disorders have affected my children, so I’m on a mission to guide all families to an accurate diagnosis and through high-quality treatment.”
Khushbu Raval is an expanded duty registered dental hygienist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She is also a practicing orofacial myofunctional therapist. Khushbu has been passionate about dentistry and helping others for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a dental family, she has worked in just about every role in the office. She became interested in airway therapy years ago but more recently pursued her certificate when she realized her daughter was showing signs of sleep-disordered breathing. This spark just kept going, and now she is helping others restore proper airway function and see the benefits of myofunctional therapy.
Away from the healthcare field, you can find Khushbu out with her two daughters and husband trying new restaurants in the local area.
